So, who owns the e-portfolio after creating it? I would think the creator would, but we don't after reading a few articles from class. Yes, it's our words that we are typing, but the general idea belongs to someone else. Meaning the material given came from other people and not you. Who Owns the e-portfolio article gave an example of how most students should start an e-portfolio and continue with it for a grade. The educator in this article wasn't aware of how to create one or how one looks for themselves. As an educator myself, we should have the proper training on these things to better assist our students in achieving this tool. I haven't taken over my e-portfolio yet with the different blogs and content outside the required materials. I am, however, working on getting to that stage.
