Contribution to Your Learning and the Learning Community

As I reflect on my learning and my contributions to my learning community, I realize that I need to improve my coursework deliveries. I do see the benefits of the CSLE+COVA delivery this program takes. Since starting this program, I have made significant changes in participating in class and interacting with my classmates. Below is a detailed list of the things I learned from this course.

Glows: (EDLD5302)
-
Learning and building on skills, I had never known to make a professional product that I had never materialized.
Grows: (EDLD5302)
-
Work on understanding and correcting self-made clips.
-
Synthesizing ideas and making connections to stay on point was the primary key that Dr. Grogan kept telling me.
-
Be confident in everything you do.
-
Never be afraid to ask for help when you don't understand how to deliver your work.
Revisions I made revisions based on Dr. H. and Dr. Grogan's feedback that included:
-
Changing my Learning Manifesto.
-
I need to update my 4DX with the changes Dr. Grogan explained.
-
Adding charts and clips to show visuals with my assignments.
-
Understanding how to write a reference correctly on specific assignments.
I participated in all of the discussions and provided words of encouragement to a few classmates regarding their E-portfolio and discussion post. I communicated with Brittany Lawrence, a classmate from 5304, where we helped each other on assignments and blogs. This time around, I read more of my classmates' posts and commented more. My two most significant challenges this term would be still reading material and creating video clips. There's just so much material to cover in a bit of time. Once I finished one reading, it felt like another reading assignment had to be completed next.
Overall, I believe that I have done an excellent job. This program is not what I expected at all. I'm still nervous about what these other classes have in store for me, but I'm ready to see what will happen in my following two courses. This program has taught me a lot, and I am still learning something new each day.
