Brandy J. Dinkins
The Educator
Welcome! My name is Brandy Joyce Dinkins. I started my education career as a Teacher's Assistant, working in the SPED department for Life Skills for four years. After that, I taught Pre-K for a year at GCCSA, a non-profit organization that serves the most vulnerable populations of Harris County. Shortly after, I got the opportunity to teach in my field as a Health Teacher for at-risk students who were determined to graduate, despite their hardships at Forest Brook Middle School for two years. Currently, I am a 3rd grade Math Teacher at one of the most rigorous, high-quality charter schools in Houston, Texas. I have my Bachelor of Science in Health Education from Sam Houston State University. Now, I am in the process of attaining my Master's Degree in Applied Digital Learning at Lamar University. My vision is to make my students responsible, economically independent, obtain computer literacy skills, and be self-sufficient. Please take a look at my learning philosophy to get to know me in-depth.
