Communicating Your Ideas (5305)

The article "Are You an Innovative Educator?" really made me reflect on my teaching style. Have I given students the opportunities to engage in authentic learning? I guess not. I never realized that it has to go past the classroom for a project to be innovative or original. After reading this, I've kept my student's work in a box for many years. You never know or realize that there is more than one way of doing something until someone tells you or reads something.

Dr. Kotter's video, "Communicating a Vision for Change," talked about communicating your vision or ideas, which had me thinking about my innovation plan. When it's time to share my Why, How, and What, I must engage my audience daily to see changes.
